Description The Geek Atlas
The Geek Atlas lists 128 places around the world where science, mathematics, or technology can be experienced. Each place is described in its own chapter, and additionally, a technical or scientific topic related to that place is covered. Among others, the following places are presented:
- Bletchley Park in England, where the Enigma was cracked
- Trinity Test Site in New Mexico, where the first atomic bomb was detonated
- The Escher Museum in The Hague, Netherlands
- The MIT Museum in Cambridge, Massachusetts
and exactly 124 more places. A sample chapter and a complete overview of all described places can be downloaded here. The book has a total of 592 pages and it is written in German.
