Description iPhone Rocket Launcher iLaunch Thunder
The iLaunch Thunder is a small rocket launcher that can be connected to an iPod touch, iPhone, or iPad via Bluetooth. The four high-quality foam rockets can then be fired directly using the free downloadable App.
An intuitive user interface allows you to position the launcher with a simple finger movement. Once the target is in sight, you can fire either by pressing a button or shaking the device. The control area is presented either in an atmospheric radar look or can be used as a digital aiming aid through the Apple device's camera.
The fitting (and naturally deactivatable for secret missions) old-school sound of a mighty explosion brings the authentic battle feeling of classic action games directly to the Apple product. The integrated snapshot function accesses the camera of the iPhone, iPod, or iPad and allows you to capture the distorted faces of the victims for eternity and use them as leverage in bad times, for example. Thanks to 270-degree rotation and wireless Bluetooth connection, you can target almost any object in the room. The shooting range is about 6-8 meters.
Perhaps the most sophisticated function of the iLaunch Thunder is the fully automatic motion sensor: When activated and the device is placed so that the firing range of the rocket launcher is within the camera image of the iPhone, iPad, or iPod, it will only fire when a suspicious movement is detected in the image area. This way, you can ward off unauthorized individuals who approach your PC at a LAN party, discover your secret stash of cookies, or simply unwelcome guests opening the door to your room.
Since the device operates wirelessly, the integrated lithium-ion battery needs to be recharged after some time, which can be comfortably done using the included USB cable and connecting it to your computer (a USB charger is not included).
